The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children Campaign is an international campaign that takes place annually from 25 November (International Day of No Violence against Women) to 10 December (International Human Rights Day).

According to the latest femicide study from the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC), femicide is the most extreme form of gender-based violence (GBV) and South Africa has the highest rates of femicide in the world.
