The criminal case against Pastor Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng and two others is expected to resume today in the Palm Ridge Regional Court on Gauteng’s East Rand.

Motsoeneng, his son Revival and bodyguard Vincent Baloyi face charges including kidnapping and assault.

The state has indicated that investigations have been concluded and it is now ready for trial.

In a video in August this year, the trio were seen brandishing weapons and allegedly forcefully removing two learns from a school in Katlehong.

During the last court appearance on the 11th of this month, the court did not sit for long and the case was transferred from the Magistrates to the Regional Court for a trial date.

Mboro is out on R3 000 bail while his co-accused have been released on warning.
