Springboks’ Morne van den Berg.
Springbok scrumhalf Morne van den Berg is set to be out for four to six months after he underwent bicep surgery this week.
The news of Van den Berg’s setback was released by Lions coach Ivan van Rooyen, who is having to find Van den Berg’s replacement for the Joburg side’s United Rugby Championship quarter-final against Leinster in Dublin next weekend.
The Springboks begin their international season against the Barbarians towards the end of June, and then it’s the Nations Championship against England, Scotland and Wales in July.
