Ramaphosa has nowhere to hide regarding Phala Phala: Malema

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says there is no escape and nowhere to hide for President Cyril Ramaphosa over the Phala Phala saga.

Last Friday, the Constitutional Court ordered Parliament to establish an impeachment committee against the President, after a Section 89-panel report found that he may have violated his oath of office.

The EFF leader made the remarks in Marlboro in Sandton whilst addressing the party’s Central Youth Elections Task Force, as part of its preparations ahead of the local polls on the 4th of November.

“We’re going to deal with this matter as an urgent matter. Even if he takes it to court, we’re going to join that court and we’re going to say to the court, in the words of the chief justice who gave the judgement, this matter is of national importance. Therefore, it cannot be subjected to a normal roll. We need to speed it up.”
