Mmile, who is an epileptic, lost all her belongings as well as her chronic medication and has not taken any medication since she arrived to find her shack flooded on Friday afternoon.
She and hundreds of residents spent the night at a local school hall.
“My belongings, my ID and pills were submerged. I am worried about the gas tanks that are also in the house because we cannot even open the door. I am pleading with the department to find me me a decent place to live because I am epileptic.”
