Efforts to contain Constantia Nek fire along Table Mountain continue

Table Mountain National Park Fire Management Department has deployed ground firefighting crews and volunteer services to contain a fire above Constantia Nek.

Several crews are on-site to assist with containment efforts.

SANParks spokesperson, JP Louw says hikers are advised to avoid using the road leading up to the Back Table and to keep the parking area at the bottom of Constantia Nek clear for emergency vehicles.
