Some residents say power outages in their area have affected them severely.
“This is so frustrating because I can’t call, I can’t cook, and I don’t have electricity. We got our rights when Nelson Mandela was the president. We registered to get a house, but we have nothing. I am so sad because I have a child in the house who uses oxygen. It’s so sad we don’t have electricity, and they bring police here to kick our doors,” says one resident.
