Agriculture Minister John Steenhuisen during foot and mouth vaccination drive

Agriculture Minister John Steenhuisen is set to lead a foot and mouth vaccination drive in Polokwane, Limpopo.

The vaccination of cattle will be conducted at the ZZ2 Kareebosch farm outside Polokwane.

The department says the campaign is part of the government’s efforts to prevent the spread of the disease.

The country has received more than 1.5 million vaccine doses from Argentina so far.
