A heavy flowing river
Police in Giyani have opened an inquest after the body of a man was discovered in the Ritavi River at Mapuve in Limpopo.
Police Spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says they received a report from residents about a body floating in the river.
“The deceased person was wearing a black t-shirt and brown underwear, and he is unknown at this stage. His age is estimated to be around 45 years old. Police are appealing to anyone missing his loved one or having any information about the victim to contact investigating officer Sergeant Frederic Wisani Mhlanga on 082 729 0351, Crime Stop number 08600 10111, or alternatively MySAPSApp,” says Ledwaba.
