The Tzaneen municipality in Limpopo has hailed the late Valoyi traditional leader, Hosi Phylia N’wamitwa II, as being instrumental in bringing development to her community. The funeral service of N’wamitwa II is underway at the Valoyi Vatsonga cultural village outside Tzaneen. She died in a hospital in Johannesburg at the age of 85. She’s been accorded a Category 2 Special Provincial Funeral.
Tzaneen municipality spokesperson Neville Ndlala says the late traditional leader had a good working relationship with the municipality.
“Well, we have really lost a legend, a great leader.
