Police confirm another arrest in the DJ Warras’ murder case

Gauteng Police have confirmed that another man has been arrested for alleged involvement in the assasination of Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock.

Brigadier Brenda Muridili has confirmed the arrest happened late last night but said she is awaiting a report.
SABC understands it might be the alleged shooter, but we cannot confirm this, as police say they are waiting for the full details.

The man is the second suspect to be nabbed in connection with the popular DJ’s killing in December last year.
A few days ago, Victor Majola, the other man accused of involvement in the murder was denied bail.

Amongst the reasons handed down by Magistrate Annalise Tlhapi, are that Majola will evade trial because he submitted two conflicting addresses and that his alibi regarding his whereabouts on the 16 December 2025, the day Warras was killed, was not tested.
The Magistrate also found that the state has a strong case against Majola given that he had been positively identified at the ID Parade, furthermore, that there was a witness who saw Majola seated near the crime scene with the shooter and another man for 45 minutes while that witness heard Majola telling the others ” there is that man”. This is before Warras was shot and killed.

The state also claims that Warras’s car details, which contained his address and that of his partner, were also found on Majola’s phone as well as pictures of the deceased.
