Businessman Brown Mogotsi, speaking to the SABC.
North West businessman Brown Mogotsi says he is still a subject of police investigations.
Police raided his business premises in Seweding village near Mahikeng, in the North West, in November last year.
At the time of the raid, police indicated that it was part of its ongoing investigations following evidence before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry and Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee.
Mogotsi says devices, including phones belonging to him and his employees, were confiscated.

“There is no update except to say indeed they have taken the wrong cell phones, and they have also approached irrelevant people who were not even part of the search and seizure warrant. Those phones and gadgets taken have not yet been brought back to us. I did meet with Brigadier Kunene somewhere in Johannesburg, where we spoke about these things, and he said they will take time and they will be given back to us,” he adds.
Mogotsi says he believes they should allow that process to arrive at its conclusion.
