Joshco CEO Themba Mathibe granted R50 000 bail


The Johannesburg Social Housing Company (JOSHCO) CEO Themba Mathibe has been released on R50000 bail in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court, following his arrest on money laundering charges.

Mathibe, who is also the CEO of the Johannesburg Development Agency, was arrested on Monday by SAPS following a raid at the JOSHCO offices.

He was later arrested at his house, where he was allegedly found in possession of a large sum of money.

Mathibe is released on normal bail conditions and is expected back in court on the 6th of February this year.
