Senona says allegations made by Khumalo are nothing but baseless

KwaZulu-Natal Hawks head General Lesetja Senona has told the Madlanga Commission that the allegations made by Intelligence Head General Dumisani Khumalo and Witness X are nothing but baseless.

General Senona adds that the accusations that have been made against him have further caused him reputational harm.

The KZN Hawks head has been accused of leaking confidential information to alleged cartel members of the Big Five.

General Senona says these allegations have not only affected him but his son as well.

“Baseless allegations by Witness X, Lt-Gen Khumalo, have caused a significant reputational harm on myself. They have further disrupted command cohesion and introduced unnecessary tensions within the DPCI case at KZN ranks. They have further caused an equal measure of harm to my son, as the allegations have caused him a significant loss of income.”
