Victim in pig farm murder regularly collected expired dairy products: Warrant officer

A forensic expert testifying in the double murder case of a Limpopo farmer says Ranti Makgato, the son of one of the deceased women, pointed out the spot at which the women used to collect expired dairy products.

Warrant Officer Alina Marotola also told the High Court in Polokwane that Maria Makgato, another deceased woman, Kudzai Ndlovu and other women regularly collected the products.

The farmer Zacharia Olivier and his two former employees, Rudolph De Wet and William Musora are on a trial for allegedly shooting the two women and disposing of their bodies in a pigsty.

State prosecutor Advocate George Sekhukhune led Marotola’s evidence.

“I asked him to get in the vehicle in order to show us the place. We then drove to the farm identified by him. Then we drove to a gate where the house was. As we waited there the gates were locked about two three minutes then came a white person.”
