Ballot papers discovered at a house in Pretoria on 25 January 2026.
The African National Congress (ANC) Greater Johannesburg Regional Conference ballot boxes have been found in a house in Pretoria.
They are believed to be linked to the controversial conference which elected Loyiso Masuku as regional chair and saw the defeat of Dada Morero, the current Johannesburg mayor.
Officials from the office of the secretary general and the police are at the scene.

Meanwhile, ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa has told SABC News that he is awaiting a full report on the discovery of the ballot papers before he can make any comments on the matter.
