The case against Tebogo Mnisi, who was arrested in connection with the murder of two young women in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria, has been postponed to the 19th of March 2026 at the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court.
22-year-old Tshiyamo Moramaga and her cousin, 21-year-old Boleseng Moramaga, were fatally shot after a night out, in October last year.
Their bodies were found lying next to a road in Mamelodi East Extension 17, with multiple gunshot wounds.
A third person was wounded and taken to the local healthcare facility.
38 year old Mnisi, made a brief appearance in the dock Monday morning before his case was postponed for further investigations.
According to the state, they are also still awaiting hospital records as well as postmortem results.
Mnisi is facing five charges including two counts of premeditated murder, attempted murder, as well as possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
He will remain behind bars until his next appearance after he abandoned his bail application.”
