The case of Boshoga is being probed: Khumalo

The case of Pretoria businessman, Jerry Boshoga, who was allegedly kidnapped in 2024 is being investigated under the instruction of National Police Commissioner, Fannie Masemola.

Crime Intelligence Head, Dumisani Khumalo revealed this when he testified before Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee yesterday.

He highlighted the difficulties in investigating the case.

“The case is under investigation but it has been having those challenges. During that time, the team was working on that case as instructed by the national commissioner. But soon after that operation, that case was re-allocated by the Deputy National Commissioner General Sibiya to another team. So up until recently, the national commissioner has directed that the team must resume the investigation of this said case.”
