Manamela warns prospective students against bogus institutions


Higher Education and Training Minister Buti Manamela has warned prospective students against illegal higher education institutions.  

He has urged private education providers not to mislead students and advised parents to conduct proper checks before making any payments.  

Department Spokesperson Matshepo Seedat says parents and students must check the status of private colleges with the department. 

“Mr Manamela has appealed to all private education providers to comply with the law and not mislead students.”
