Fire crews working to combat raging fires in the area.
The Cape Winelands District Municipality says the fire in Wemmershoek near Franschhoek remains active.
It started in the Langrug area on Wednesday last week.
The Winelands Fire Protection Association has deployed aerial resources to the area with the assistance of the Stellenbosch Municipality.
The focus is on the protection of structures at Mont Rochelle, Chamonix Wine Estate, and surrounding farms.
Meanwhile, the Overstrand Municipality has estimated that fires in the area have cost it more than R6 million.
The fires are still burning in Pearly Beach, Uilkraalsmond and Koude Vlakte near Stanford.
