Search operations underway for victims of KZN flash floods.
The search for one of the three people who went missing after their car was swept off a flooded bridge at Doonside near Amanzimtoti on the Durban South Coast has resumed.
The bodies of two other occupants were recovered on Monday.
Two other people died in the vicinity of Port Shepstone, bringing the total number of people who have lost their lives as a result of the recent flash floods to four.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says, “I can confirm that rescue teams and ALS paramedics are back at the site where the vehicle was washed up at Doonside bridge in Amanzimtoti. Police and Metro Police Search and Rescue divers are in the water as we speak. They have started this morning from where they found the other gentleman.”
