Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola visiting Pretoria for the handing over of police vehicles.
National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola has assured South Africans that the suspect responsible for the murder of Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock will be arrested this weekend.
DJ Warras was gunned down on Tuesday in the Johannesburg CBD, outside a building where he had been providing security services.
Masemola was speaking during an oversight visit to the ongoing Safer Festive Season operations in Pretoria on Friday afternoon.
More than 150 new police vehicles were officially handed over during the visit. Masemola says he is confident that an arrest is imminent.
“A suspect has been identified and he will be arrested before Monday – we will have the suspect arrested. He is a known suspect, he will definitely, if not today, but over the weekend, that suspect will be arrested.”
