Family, friends and colleagues are attending media personality Warrick ‘DJ Warras’ Stock’s memorial service, underway in Sandton, Johannesburg.
He was shot dead on Tuesday outside a building where he had been providing security services in the Johannesburg CBD.
Police say three unknown men approached DJ Warras and opened fire on him before fleeing the scene on foot.
All three were captured on CCTV.
Security is extremely tight at the Galleria at M1 Place in Sandton, where the memorial service is expected to take place today.
The venue is already filled with the former 5FM DJ’s loved ones, gathered to remember and celebrate his life and legacy.
Joburg Mayor Dada Morero is expected to attend the memorial service.
Police have launched a manhunt for three suspects believed to be involved in the killing.
