The South African Council of Churches (SACC) in Gauteng will today host a memorial service in honour of the 12 people who died during a mass shooting in Saulsville near Atteridgeville last week.
The event will take place at the Attridgeville Community Hall, next to the local police station this afternoon.
Provincial Council Chairperson Bishop Sidwell Mokgothu says the South African Council of Churches is saddened and angry about what has happened.
“The level of violence and brutality with which violence has come in our country generally and in this community in particular is very unwarranted,” says Mokgothu.
