Three Phala Phala accused back in Modimolle court

Three people accused of breaking into President Cyril Ramaphosa’s farm and stealing over $500 000 will appear before the Modimolle Magistrate’s Court in Limpopo on Monday morning.

Immanuela David and siblings Floriana and Ndilinasho Joseph allegedly stole the money, which had reportedly been concealed in a sofa in February 2020.

The Modimolle Regional Court in Limpopo has reserved judgment in October in an application for a trial within a trial in the case of the theft of $580 000 dollars at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala Farm.

The state applied that the evidence of its fourth witness be examined after he told the court that he did not make the statement.

The witness told the court that the statement was presented to him by the police and was ordered to sign it.

He was testifying against three accused in the Phala Phala farm case.

More witnesses are expected to take the stand.
