Three people, including a nine-year-old boy, have been gunned down in Rocklands, Mitchell’s Plain on the Cape Flats.
Police spokesperson, Andre Traut, says four assailants entered the victim’s house and opened fire. He says two other people have been wounded in the attack.
Traut says police have launched a manhunt for the suspects.
“Police in the Western Cape have launched a manhunt after a nine-year-old boy, a young woman and a man were shot and killed in Rocklands in Mitchell’s Plain. Two others were wounded when four gunmen opened fire inside the home. Our anti-gang unit are following strong leads to track down those responsible. We condemn this senseless violence in the strongest terms. We call on the public to assist us.”
