The current South African men’s cricket team continues to write its own history.
The reigning ICC World Test champions completed a test series whitewash against India, winning the second test in Guwahati by a crushing 408 runs.
It’s the Proteas’ first test series victory on Indian soil since 1999.
India, who required 549 to win the second test and square the series, were bowled out for 140 in the middle session on day five.
Off-spinner Simon Harmer picked up six wickets for 37 runs in his 23 overs – his best figures in a test innings.
