Community members gather for UNITE party’s mass meeting in Kliptown, Soweto.
GOOD Party leader and Minister of Tourism Patricia de Lille has called on citizens to vote out the current government.
This is despite the party being a member of the Government of National Unity.
De Lille was speaking at a mass meeting of the UNITE party which is a combination of her party, BOSA and Rise Mzansi.
UNITE is seeking to recruit candidate councillors to represent the party in the 2026 local elections.
“There are no people that are governing, because the leaders are just eating and stealing. But remember, we live in a democracy and through this democracy, we, all here, we voted in this useless government. We, we voted them in, useless, and the only way you can get them out is to vote them out. There’s no other way, you have to vote them out. ”
