Ikwekwezi FM news anchor Themba Sindane to be laid to rest today


Tributes continue to pour in for Ikwekwezi FM news anchor Themba Sindane, as funeral proceedings take place today.

The seasoned broadcaster passed away a week ago at the age of 46, after a short illness.

He passed away at the Netcare Hospital in Pretoria.

Sindane will be laid to rest in his hometown of KwaPhaahla, Siyabuswa in Mpumalanga.

The broadcasting industry and Ndebele community are mourning the loss of Sindane, a beloved voice and dedicated broadcaster.

Sindane began his journey at KCRC FM and later became a familiar presence on Ikwekwezi FM, where he spent 20 years reading bulletins with grace and professionalism.

His deep knowledge and mastery of IsiNdebele earned him respect across the country.

Sindane is being laid to rest in KwaPhaahla village, where he was born.

He is survived by his wife, three children, six brothers and sister.
