King Misuzulu at his traditional wedding
King Misuzulu KaZwelithini is involved in the final stages of his traditional wedding at KwaKhangelamankengane Palace, as he marries his second wife Queen MaMyeni from Jozini.
The King was accompanied by Amabutho.
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema is also among the guests in attendance.
Royal family spokesperson Gobizizwe Zulu says the families will share some issues related to both families, including challenges the bride may have which need attention from the groom’s side.
“In the kraal is where both families meet because both families from the groom and brides side meet to accept the blessings and this is where both families introduce the bride to the ancestors. During this time, some senior members praise the ancestors and telling them that the bride has arrived and they must welcome her and give her blessings,” says Zulu.
