12-Year-old boy among three wounded in Elsies River gang shooting

Three people including a twelve-year-old boy have been wounded in a shooting between gangs in Clarke Estate in Elsies River on the Cape Flats. Police spokesperson, Wesley Twigg, says officers are investigating attempted murder charges.

“Elsies River police registered three counts of attempted murder following a shooting incident in Mayville court, Clarke Estate, where a 12-year-old boy, a 44-year-old female and a 30-year male were shot and wounded. The victims were taken to a medical facility for treatment. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, and no arrests have been made yet.”
