Rain falling on an umbrella.
The Tshwane Emergency Management Services say they are on high alert. This after the South African Weather Service (SAWS) issued a warning for heavy rain, severe thunderstorms and strong winds in Gauteng.
The EMS says no major incidents have been reported across the city.

Spokesperson Nana Kgiba says they are monitoring high-risk areas, including Centurion, Olievenhoutbosch, parts of Mamelodi, Soshanguve, Ga-Rankuwa, and Pretoria West.
Kgiba says they will continue to monitor those areas and are in constant communication with the South African Weather Service for any updates on flash flooding in the areas.
“When you stay next to a river stream, it’s not safe to be on that place in case there is a flash flood,”adds Kgiba.
