Prisoners behind bars
A Free State barber, who preyed on young boys, has been sentenced to four life terms behind bars.
The Wesselsbron Regional Court found him guilty of raping four boys aged between 12 and 15 at his shack, which also operates as a salon in Malebogo Township near Hertzogville.
The assaults happened in May last year and came to light when one victim told a teacher.
Police Spokesperson Mahlomola Kareli says the sentence sends a powerful message that those who harm children will face the full might of the law.
