Crime scene cordoned off.
Police are calling on anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of suspects responsible for killing three people in Ndevana township, Qonce in the Eastern Cape on Saturday to come forward.
Police spokesperson, Siphokazi Mawisa, says the deceased men were in their 30s. Mawisa says a fourth person was injured and is in hospital.
According to Mawisa, police suspect a mob to be responsible for the attacks.
“Police are working tirelessly to uncover information that can lead to the arrest of suspects involved in the case of triple murder and attempted murder that occurred at Ndevana area in the early hours of Saturday, 01 November 2025 at about 05h00. The Acting Provincial Commissioner Major General Thandiswa Kupiso condemned such cruel acts of violence and is urging the community members to stand with the police in pursuit of justice and cautioned them not to take the law into their own hands.”
