SAPS Task Force raids Ngaka Molema District offices in Mahikeng

Law enforcement officials are currently raiding the offices of the Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality in Mahikeng in the North West.

Operations have been halted after officers from the SAPS’s Special Task Force closed the gates of the building to conduct a search.

Some of the workers outside say the group came in and closed the building, and started searching it.

Those who were inside at the time are still inside, while workers who were outside the building are unable to enter.

It is not clear at this stage what they are looking for.
