The City of Tshwane says a job advertisement circulating calling for drivers is fake
The City of Tshwane is warning job seekers of the false advertisement of a driver messenger vacancy circulating on social media.

The City says this is a scam and did not originate from the City of Tshwane.
City of Tshwane spokesperson Lindela Mashigo has urged the public to be vigilant and not fall victims to fraudulent scams.

The City of Tshwane says they do not advertise any vacancies on social media as all legitimate job vacancies are posted in the newspapers and in the City’s official website –www.tshwane.gov.za and any recruitment process outside of these channels should be treated as a scam.
The city also says will not hesitate to take legal action against individuals found to be spreading false information or attempting to exploit vulnerable job seekers.
