The leader of the Nxamalala Tribal Authority, Chief Simphiwe Zuma, who stands accused of killing Democratic Alliance (DA) Chief Whip Nhlalayenza Ndlovu, will know on the 30th of September if he will be granted bail.
Zuma’s bail application was heard in the Howick Magistrate’s Court.

The state and defence have delivered their closing arguments before Magistrate Sandy Sindane.
Earlier, Zuma and his co-accused decided to abandon bail in a separate matter where he is alleged to have killed a man from the Mphophomeni area at the end of 2022.
Zuma denies any involvement in the Ndlovu murder.
