Limpopo collision between bakkie, sedan leaves two dead

Two people have been killed and two others injured in a collision between a bakkie and a sedan on the Nelson Mandela Drive, Lehae-la-Batho near Seshego in Limpopo.

The injured have been taken to a hospital.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba says the deceased and the injured were occupants of a sedan.

Mashaba says a bakkie hit a sedan from behind and didn’t stop at the collision scene.

“According to the preliminary report, a blue Toyota Conquest was allegedly hit from behind by a white Toyota Hilux, which failed to stop. The collision tragically claimed the lives of a 52-year-old male driver and a female passenger, while two other passengers, aged 50 and 15, were seriously injured and hospitalised at the Provincial Hospital. The investigations are ongoing.”
