Traditional leader denies involvement in Umngeni chief whip’s murder

A traditional leader has denied any involvement in the killing of Umngeni chief whip Nhlalayenza Ndlovu in 2023.

This was contained in a sworn affidavit by Inkosi Simphiwe Zuma, which was handed up during his bail application in the Howick Magistrate’s Court.

This after the state presented an affidavit by the investigating officer that Zuma is linked to bribing a magistrate in a different murder case.

The state also says it has recordings of Zuma discussing Nldovu’s murder.
