The case against five men charged with the kidnapping and murder of journalist Sibusiso Aserie Ndlovu and his wife Zodwa Mdhluli, has been postponed to September 3 for an indictment to be served on the accused.
The couple went missing in February and their mortal remains were found in Limpopo in May.
The accused appeared in the KwaMhlanga Magistrates’ Court in Mpumalanga today.
National Prosecuting Authority Spokesperson Monica Nyuswa, says, “Ndlovu and Mdhuli were last seen on February 18 and were reported missing shortly after. Their remains were discovered three months later along the Limpopo-Gauteng border. DNA analysis confirmed the identities of the deceased. All of the accused have been remanded in custody and the matter has been postponed until September 3 for the indictment to be served on them.”
