National Police Commissioner, Fannie Masemola briefs the media.
National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola says searches have been undertaken by the Hawks Crimes Against the State Unit at farms near Lesotho and no evidence of training camps for Basotho, seeking to reclaim land from South Africa, have been found to date.
Lesotho Police Chief Borotho Matsoso had said that reports of training camps in South Africa were credible.
Masemola says in a statement that he has met with all nine provincial commissioners to discuss crime combating efforts in the country and the claims by Matsoso were high on the agenda.
