Five people have died in a crash on the N4 in North West.
Four vehicles collided between Groot Marico and Swartruggens.
It is alleged that a delivery vehicle towing another vehicle overtook a car and then collided with two oncoming vehicles.
Four women and a man succumbed to their injuries while four others were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
