Two people gunned down in Khayelitsha

Two men have been shot dead in Kuyasa, Khayelitsha, on the Cape Flats.

Western Cape Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says the victims, aged 30 and 40, were declared dead on the scene.

He says no arrests have been made.

Twigg says, “Police members attended to the crime scene where they found the victims with gunshot wounds to their bodies. Both victims were declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.”

“According to reports, the victims were approached by an unknown male who shot them before fleeing the scene. Harare detectives are investigating two counts of murder.”
