The Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) has called on the public to claim their vehicles that are currently impounded.
It says vehicles can be collected from the pound between today and the 16th of next month from Monday to Friday between eight o’clock in the morning and four o’clock in the afternoon.
EMPD spokesperson Thabiso Makgatho says, “Failing to claim vehicles they may be sold in a form of a public auction and proceeds derived from this auction be dealt with a prescribed by regulation 320(4) of the National Traffic Act (NRTA) 93 of 1996.”
