Four people have been killed and 14 others injured after the bakkie they were travelling in overturned on the N2 near Beacon Bay in the Eastern Cape.
The deceased include the driver and three boys in the crash which happened yesterday.
The injured were taken to Frere hospital.
The people were travelling from Bunkers Hill stadium to participate in a soccer match.
Provincial Department of Transport Spokesperson, Unathi Binqose says, “A very unfortunate incident that has taken the lives of three young boys and an adult while coming from a soccer match.
Binqose says, “The MEC of transport in the Eastern Cape, Mr Xolile Nqatha wishes a speedy recovery to those in hospital and sends condolences to the bereaved families.”
