Three missing constables, , 24-year-old Constable Cebekhulu Linda (male), 30-year-old Constable Keamogetswe Buys (female) and 20-year-old Constable Boipelo Senoge (female)
The family of one of the constables whose bodies were retrieved from the Hennops River in Centurion, Gauteng, says it still wants answers.
The bodies of constables Boipelo Senoge, Keamogetswe Buys and Cebekhulu Linda were retrieved last week.
The Linda family says although it believes that it was an accident, it’s important to understand what led to it.
Family spokesperson Sipho Linda says, “We still have questions because at first, this was reported as hijacking or kidnapping. Then we’re told “no, it’s an accident.”
The way the accident happened, we believe it was an accident. But what led to the accident, that’s what we want to understand. Because knowing my son, he was very careful. I mean, he wouldn’t drive from Bloemfontein if he was negligent. And why was he driving on the far left?”
