Multi-vehicle pile-up
Meanwhile, nine people injured in a multi-vehicle pile-up outside Lichtenburg in the North West are still in hospital. Provincial Community Safety Department’s Oshebeng Koonyaditse says the driver of a vehicle traveling from Lichtenburg to Mahikeng was trying to overtake two vehicles when he collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction. The driver then tried to squeeze in between the two vehicles he was trying to overtake, causing all the vehicles to collide.
