Manhunt after fatal Katlehong tavern shooting

Gauteng police say they are searching for a man who shot and killed two people at a tavern in Katlehong, east of Johannesburg. It is alleged that the suspect had been drinking alcohol at the tavern and had an altercation with one of the patrons. 

Gauteng SAPS spokesperson Mavela Masondo says, “It is reported that the suspect was at a tavern in Katlehong when he had an altercation with one of the patrons. Later on, the suspect went out and came back. Without saying a word, he started shooting randomly at the patrons. This is where two patrons were fatally shot and two were injured. The suspect fled on foot, and the police are still looking for him.”
