Eight of the thirteen people who died when a minibus and a bakkie collided head-on and caught fire during a crash on the R40 between Acornhoek and Hoedspruit in Limpopo will be laid to rest on Sunday in a mass funeral.
Ten of the victims of the minibus taxi were residents of Acornhoek who were heading to work in February.
They were burnt beyond recognition when the vehicles collided, and the process of obtaining the DNA results was delayed.

The Mpumalanga and Limpopo governments are expected to attend the mass funeral of the eight victims who died during a gruesome accident that claimed thirteen lives two months ago.
The passengers in the minibus were all employees of a Fruit and Veg store in Hoedspruit who were travelling to work from Arconhoek.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the vehicles collided head-on when one of the vehicles attempted to overtake.
The passengers were burnt beyond recognition when both vehicles caught fire.
