A tavern owner has been shot dead and four other people wounded at Marble Hall in Limpopo. Provincial Police Commissioner Thembi Hadebe has strongly condemned the shooting and has ordered investigators to use the available resources to hunt for the suspect who fired shots during a live music performance.
The tavern owner died in the hospital after being shot several times in the upper body while at the entrance to the tavern. Three other people who were shot and wounded are being treated in the hospital. The fourth wounded person was discharged from the hospital.
Marble Hall Police were summoned to the scene, and on their arrival, they found several spent cartridges and projectiles on the scene. The suspect is unknown at this stage. The motive is also unknown.
